Services

A care plan is drawn up for each person who lives at The Lodge in consultation with the service user, relatives and the professionals involved in the service user’s care. We believe individual programmes are crucial to the life experience of service users. Programmes will be as varied as the people for whom they are designed.

Key workers take specific responsibility for the implementation of individual programme planning. Each service user will have a personalised care plan and timetable to reflect all areas of need and may include activities such as:

  Art and craft

  Gardening

  Independent living skills

  Cookery

Service users also make regular use of facilities outside of the home:

  Jigsaw Study Centre 

  Tendering Adult Community College

  Harwich Leisure Centre

  Weekend breaks e.g. cottage breaks, boat trips, amusement parks

  Amenities within the local area e.g. library, town centre, sea front
